Our Club hosted the ninth annual Celebration Of Life bowling tournament on Monday, September 4 with a great turnout. Everyone came decked out in their loudest outfits and we welcomed a dozen members of the Sidney Club to join in. After three games the eventual winners were Paul M, Ruby S and Alan F. The long Jack contests were captured by Beth C and Paul N. Short Jack won by Lorne C. More importantly, those attending managed to raise $1700 towards cancer research.
CP has now raised over $10,950 with this annual event. Hats off to our organizers Ron L and Gord F for a very enjoyable day. Special thanks to Trudy H for handling all the kitchen duties and staying late to clean up.
