The Ray Turner Classic Tournament took place on BC Day. We had 20 participants and wonderful volunteer support for the event. The event consists of games of lawn bowls and croquet – everyone would normally have played two games of each – so special thanks to the participants who were willing to go with the flow and fill in the vacancies. A good time appeared to be had by all!
Thanks to the Tapestry Seniors Residence across the road, who with Don Ross’ prompting, provided a delicious Tiramisu with “Ray Turner Tournament” written on slabs of white chocolate on the top of the cake.
