This Club was established in 1923 as a recreational outlet for employees of the Canadian Pacific Railway and Steamship Company. In 1928 the Club’s programs were relocated to this green in Cridge Park which was designed to complement the new Crystal Garden West Coast Amusement Centre. By the 1950s the Club had opened its membership up to the general public and has since gone on to build a solid reputation as an inclusive and highly social community facility offering Lawn Bowls, Croquet and Bocce as well as a number of winter indoor activities.
