It was a great day down on CP’s Crystal Garden Green on May 23rd for the annual BSI Over 80s Mixed Triples. Congratulations to all 14 squads for making it through three highly contested matches. Eventual winners by point differential went to Randy Small’s Lake Hill Club, just brushing past Canadian Pacific’s entry (Gord F, Trudy H & Mel W). Rod Armitage’s Oak Bay team came a close third. Weather was perfect, tea was robust and the company was pleasant as always. Thanks again to all the volunteers for baking goodies, setting up rinks and hanging around to cheer on our squads.
